I recently got my hava platinum hd, and I thought I should give it a try. The video recording quality is superb, although the file size is huge. I just want to so how the video would look on youtub…
the files that r produced from the hava recordings r mpg files, hence the HQ, i still didnt get a program to convert into mp4 for HD.
You dont need to get a nw program, you can just render them in HD
@meno5012 – Sony Vegas can convert it to MP4 along with a whole bunch of other settings

So did you play in HD while recording the video in 1080i? If so, I think this just sold me on getting this device, unfortunately at this point the Hauppage is just too much money, although the quality is astounding.
i was playing in hd 1080i. the hava is easier to deal with than the hauppage in terms of software and recording..in my opinion. and it costs about 140 $..which is less than the hauppage. the hava produces mpg format, which i uploaded here..i still didnt get a program to convert the video into mp4 for hd, hence, u see the icon for watch in HQ instead of HD.
